Obedience In Webster's Dictionary, there are two words under the definition of obedient that match Jim's feelings about training dogs: agreeable: being in harmony and obliging: to do something as a favor. Jim's goal, when training dogs, is to achieve a pleasant relationship with each dog and get them to WANT to work for him.
